Along Came the Chicks

The boys and I decided it was time to expand our backyard garden to include chickens.  We have 18.  We work together to care for the, learning chick 1st aid along the way!

Our Snow Days

The neighbors have snow days so there have been lots of neigbor kids around.

Ezra has been practicing reading and writing words that are a challenge for him.
Terje has been practicing adding. Both have learned to do dishes.

I played in the snow and now i'm tired and can't think so here's some pics from today.

Ezra Climbs Terje Judges

Ezra placed 5th in his 1st climbing comp. He tried about 14 routes and finished 8. He added his points, watched movies and climbers, hung out, and ate during the 10am-7pm contest.

Terje helped Daddy judge, took pics of Ezra and other climbers, and watched movies.

We are almost done reading book 1 The Sisters Grimm. It rocks! We are all enjoying it. No time for a story recap today but even dad has read some. Terje even stays nearby to hear!

recent stuff

Today we are headed downtown to try and see Barack Obama speak. Ezra decided he's voting for himself. He wants everyone to vote for Ezra! Then Terje wants NO president so toys will be free and he can go seat belt free in the car:) My goal at this point is just to show I have a passion for politics and also to introduced them to government in a lively way.

Also, Terje, on his own, decided to write Burger King a letter in hopes that they would serve breakfast all day! Ezra wants to make the Cincy area buy more salt trucks so his art class and karate won't be canceled due to weather:)
